A home on Adderstone Crescent in Jesmond sold for £5m - making it the most expensive home in the North East

A £5 million house in Newcastle is the most expensive home to be sold in the North East over the past 12 months. The 14-room property on Adderstone Crescent, Jesmond, was sold for £5.3m last June, according to data from the Land Registry.

That's more than what was paid for any other property sold between January 2022 and April 2023 in our area. A total of 14 properties have been sold for over £2million in the North East in that time.

The next most expensive property sold in our region was a house in Whalton Park, Gallowhill, which went for £4m, and then a £3.6m home in Lindisfarne Road, also in Jesmond.
