There are plenty of community servers that are constantly active and game modes that you can choose from, like in the image below. Just like any server browser, you're also able to filter for empty or full servers, game modes, and regions.
The Northstar launcher doesn't exactly have an anti-cheat system, but the players can vote to kick a player out if they deem the player to be cheating or acting in an unsavory manner. You can also report cheaters on the Northstar Discord server, and active moderators will take action promptly.
Installing the Northstar launcher for Titanfall 2 is quite straightforward. If you want to make Titanfall 2 playable again, here's how to install the Northstar launcher:
Firstly, head to the Northstar website. Scrolling down, you will see four installation options to choose from. We suggest installing the Viper version as that's the most convenient one to use. However, if your needs are different, feel free to choose the one that fits you best.
Click on Download, and it'll download the executable. Once it's finished installing, and before you run Northstar, head to the next step first.
You won't be able to finish the launcher setup unless Titanfall 2 is downloaded. Download it on your platform of choice; EA, Steam, or Xbox App. Just make sure you take note of the installation location. You could also just use EA Play through Xbox Game Pass for PC.
If you already have Titanfall 2 installed, you can load the Northstar launcher as soon as it finishes installing and skip this step.
Now that you have Titanfall 2 installed, it's time to run the setup for the Northstar launcher and ensure you can improve your experience of Titanfall 2.
While Northstar is doing the first install, it will attempt to locate Titanfall 2. If it doesn't locate the folder, it will open up the file explorer, and a pop-up will appear telling you to locate it manually.
Simply select the folder where your installation of Titanfall 2 is located, and it will automatically start the launcher once the installation for Northstar 2 is complete.
Once you're at the launcher screen, there will be another Install button. Click on that, and that will be the last installation. It might also do an update as well, so it'll take a few seconds to a few minutes.
As a final tip, don't click Launch multiple times if it doesn't start up immediately. It might run multiple instances of Titanfall 2 at the same time.
