Every so often, a product comes along that becomes an instant cult classic.

Launched in 2016, the Revlon One-Step Volumiser has won a legion of loyal fans thanks to its easy at-home blow-dry effect and affordable price point.

Normally £62.99 (which is still a steal if you're not able to fork out for the £400+ Dyson Airwrap, which promises similar effects) it's currently on sale on Amazon for just £35 today - a huge 44% off.

The Volumiser is easy to use, giving the power of a volumiser and dryer in one. While ceramic Technology helps reduce damage caused by excess hair with an even distribution of heat, for less frizz and more shine.

The styler offers two heat settings, plus a cool air shot setting to keep the style in place with tangle-free bristles that aid a smooth and sleek look.

This product has, incredibly, over 29,000 reviews on Amazon, praising its at-home blow-dry effect.

'I have thick, straight and long hair and have been struggling to achieve the salon blow out look at home with a regular dryer and round hair brush. When I [heard] of the Revlon Volumiser range, I saved up my money and decided to buy the Revlon Plus and I do not regret it at all!' wrote one shopper on the website.

So how does it work, exactly?

'I used this on both dry and wet straight hair after applying heat protectant and I am in love with the results. My hair had so much volume, and even without setting it in rollers the curls really did last throughout the day.

'There was a slight learning curve, and my arms did feel sore after using it, but this product saved me a lot of hair styling time,' continued the shopper online

While another said: 'As someone with Fibromyalgia, I had pretty much given up on trying to blow dry my hair. The combined weight of a hairdryer in one hand and the styling brush in the other was too much for me to manage and I usually had to give up after completing a quarter of my hair.

'I was initially unsure whether to order the One Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser based on a couple of the negative reviews. However, I could not be happier that I took the plunge and ordered it.

'I find it easy to hold, and the fact that you can support the other end to distribute the weight makes it very manageable. It can be a bit too hot on the highest setting when close to the neck, but the lower heat setting is fine.

'I would be pleased to recommend this to people with chronic health conditions, although I do recognise, of course, that we all have different experiences.'

While others praised the styler as being 'great for thick, wavy hair'.

'I was recommended a hot air brush by my hairdresser and after a lot of research decided on the Revlon One Step Volumiser Plus,' wrote another shopper.

'I'm no good at separating my hair into sections so use this to style the front and use ordinary hair dryer for the rest. I have used the brush to dry the whole lot but it is quite time consuming. The results were good though. Would definitely recommend.'
