Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play was released on February 15, 2023, and has been a revelation for the video game. Players of all kinds are able to climb the ranks with the best of the best and show off their skills.

SR determines where players fall in Skill Divisions. Once you reach the next division, you get three games where you're safe from a demotion. After that, each loss results in a loss of SR. For each division, Bronze-Iridescent, there will be three tiers to get through before getting to the next division.
Your highest Skill Division at the end of each season will determine where you will be placed. Here is what you can expect for your rank.
It's simple - Win and gain SR. How you and your team perform in-game will determine how much SR you gain or lose after a match. More emphasis will be placed on team performance within higher Skill Divisions. If a player on your team disconnects or a match is canceled, you are safe from losing SR. If you disconnect from a game, you will be hit with a suspension and SR loss.
You can play with a party of three as long as they fall within a certain Skill Division.
Everyone starts at Bronze 1 and works their way to 50. You earn a star after each win in Ranked Play. Every five Ranks give you a new symbol.
As you continue to rank up, new rewards will be available.
