Money has flooded in for shock Celtic managerial candidate Des Buckingham with the Englishman 'pictured' at Glasgow Airport.
The 38-year-old unknown is currently in charge of Mumbai City who are part of the City Group umbrella where former boss Ange Postecoglou worked along with Parkhead scout Mark Lawwell, son of Hoops chairman Peter. Bookies Betfair say that Buckingham is the most backed of any potential manager - ahead of David Moyes, Graham Potter and Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna. Buckingham has been backed from 66/1 to 7/2 second favourite.
And it comes as pictures on social media claim to show Buckingham at Glasgow Airport. The 38-year-old is the head coach of Mumbai City FC of the Indian Super League, the country's top flight. He recently led them to their second league title, their first under his leadership, with a record win and points tally.
Before arriving on India's west coast, Buckingham built up his coaching experience and made a name for himself in New Zealand and Australia. But his journey began with more humble beginnings in Oxford, after his playing career as a goalkeeper with his hometown team Oxford United, and nearby Reading, did not take off.
