Lady Gaga's revamped, vegan make-up range, Haus Labs, is finally available in the UK at Sephora Westfield White City and online.
In an increasingly saturated market that is celebrity beauty, Haus Labs makes it mark by launching an extensive collection with upwards of 125 products with skin-kind formulas boasting fermented arnica to help reduce redness and inflammation.
The range features an impressive foundation line-up with 51 shades. The Triclone Skintech Foundation is already causing a stir on TikTok for its complexion perfecting yet weightless finish; it's exactly the kind of base a global megastar would have in her glam room. Five shades of Bio Blurring Loose Powder helps keep any shine at bay without appearing heavy.
Along with the foundation and powder, you'll also find 12 shades of the Power Sculpt Velvet Bronzer, a smooth, squalane-infused formula that blends in seamlessly into skin and 10 hues of the Bio Radiant Gel-Powder Highlighter for that otherworldly glow.
To play up the eyes, there are ten shades of the Optic Intensity Eco Eyeliner and 20 shades of the Hy-Power Pigment Paints which feature show-stopping, vibrant tones of sapphire, sunflower yellow and Barbiecore pink.
'We have a tonne of products that are meant to just inspire your imagination,' Gaga told ELLE UK in an interview ahead of the launch. Whether used on cheeks, lips or eyes, these versatile pigments will bring out the artist in all of us.
No make-up line is complete without lipstick, and Haus Labs has every aesthetic covered. The Le Monster Lip Crayon is all about intense pigment in sleek packaging while the Atomic Shake Lip Lacquer promises to deliver all the shine with hardly any transfer. If you're more into the dewy, clean-girl finish, the PHD Lip Oil will have you sorted.
It seems there's something in the air this year in terms of celebrity beauty brands having a second coming. Kim Kardashian announced the closure of KKW fragrances and the rebranding of SKKN, while Rare Beauty finally launched in the UK and Ariana Grande released the second chapter of R.E.M Beauty.
Now, it seems that Lady Gaga has a transformation in the works - and we're not talking about one of her incredible red carpet outfits. WWD has reported that Haus Laboratories is to become the new and revamped Haus Labs, and it's not just the name that's had a make-over...
Originally, Haus Laboratories launched back in 2018 on Amazon, with a make-up line focusing on eyes and lips. While the 4 and 5 star reviews stacked up on the e-tailer, the hype didn't seem to reach the UK as much as it did in the US.
Fast forward to 2022 and Gaga and her team have gone in for a complete renovation. After followers spotted that the original Haus Laboratories Instagram had deleted all their posts and changed their handle to Haus Labs at the beginning of May, conversation around Gaga's plans for the brand started going into overdrive.
Of course, Gaga never lets us down. New promotional imagery was posted to the Haus Labs Instagram with a fresh, futuristic aesthetic, not to mention a mega-sculpted Gaga fronting the campaign. Aside from the name, WWD reports that the packaging and product range has been overhauled, with a focus on high-performance and clean formulations.
Not one to do things by halves, the brand has confirmed Haus Labs will be launching a mega 155 SKUs in 2022 alone. While most of the line is still under wraps, Gaga confirmed to WWD that the new range would include a PH-adjusting lip oil, eyeliner and bronzer which comes in 12 shades.
From the looks of the imagery posted to their Instagram, it looks like colour experimentation and artistry will be a foremost focus for the brand, with one of their latest posts reading; 'Get ready for no compromise color & clean skincare-infused makeup.'
While currently, Haus Labs has only confirmed an exclusive partnership with Sephora (cries in British), we're hoping that an expansion over to UK shores is in the works. If you're lucky enough to be going to the US any time soon, Haus Labs will be launching in Sephora stores and online on 9 June. If anyone fancies picking us up a beauty haul on their trip...
