This post is all about the Starbucks Pink Drink and how you can make it at home. This post contains affiliates links which means I get a small commission from qualifying purchase.

If you're like me, you sometimes wish you had a Starbucks barista at your beck and call. But when you can't make it to a Starbucks store (or want to save money) try this easy Starbucks pink drink recipe at home.

One of the most famous, and refreshing choices (perfect on a hot summer day) is the pink drink. I think the main attraction is the pretty pink color.

You may even be able to achieve a pretty ombre effect depending on how you construct your drink (see tips below.)

Probably one of the easiest drinks to make and there are so many variations. I love anything with coconut, so this Starbucks coconut milk drink is right up my alley.

While many use tea for the base, I'll show you how to make the pink drink with juice. Just swapping out different juice flavors gives you a whole new drink experience.

Try incorporating pineapple juice for a tropical-infused treat. You could also substitute different fruit choices. I chose strawberries for this recipe, but peaches, blackberries, and raspberries would also be great choices.

I'll be sharing the most basic recipe for Starbucks' pink drink. While many may use berry tea, I like to make my life easier and use juice concentrate. Also, I believe it tastes better!

The recipe in this post does not contain caffeine. Some recipes may include Tazo Iced Passion tea concentrate or hibiscus tea which do not contain caffeine. Our recipe is made without tea, but tastes just like the real thing.

For a 16 oz serving of the pink drink, you're looking at about 140 calories with 24 grams of sugar, according to the Starbucks website.

While their recipe is made with tea, the copycat recipe in this post is made with juice that contains 25 grams of sugar per 8oz.

However, because of coconut milk's naturally high-fat content, there have been instances where lactating women have experienced an increase in milk production while consuming the pink drink. But of course, you'd want to confirm that with your doctor.

This homemade variation may not be the healthiest with the sugar content. As mentioned above, you could use the tea concentrate for fewer calories and sugar, but it will taste a bit different.

In order to make a variation of the Starbucks pink drink recipe, you'll need just a few items from the store. To begin, you will need to get the following ingredients:

Step 1: Fill your cup about 3/4 full of ice.

Step 2: Add strawberries. For additional strawberry flavor, you can muddle the strawberries on the bottom of your cup before filling them with ice. You could also use freeze-dried strawberries, but I prefer fresh strawberries.

You can get my mason jar lids and metal straw here.

Step 3: Then fill your cup 3/4 with the white cran-strawberry juice and 1/4 with coconut milk. Stir and enjoy!!

To get that visually-appealing ombre effect, you may even try pouring the coconut milk first (the densest) and then pouring the juice on top. You'll want to eventually stir it to drink, but it does make for a cool pretty effect.

The best part about re-creating this Starbucks favorite is that you can make it anytime at home at a fraction of the cost. A grande serving (16 fl. oz.) of the Pink Drink at Starbucks will cost you $4.35.

We paid $3.59 for 64 fl. oz of Ocean Spray's White Cran-Strawberry juice. $3.99 for half a gallon of coconut milk, and $2.50 for a pound of fresh strawberries. This is a more cost-effective way to enjoy the Pink Drink and make it multiple times for you and your family and friends.

Here's a video of how to make this delicious drink - Enjoy!
