One Rocky character has been undeservedly underused more than any other, but a Creed IV setup has made them far more important to the franchise's future. While the Rocky and Creed series has tons of characters, they all get their time to shine, with the expansive franchise having plenty of time to explore each one. However, one of Creed's biggest characters has been completely underused - but Creed IV could finally be changing that.
The Creed movies are a spin-off of the long-lasting Rocky franchise, with the film following the son of Apollo Creed, Adonis. While Adonis Creed started the first film as a poor boxer who was down on his luck, the three Creed movies have transformed him into an incredibly rich and successful boxer with a family of his own. Adonis is now retired and living with his wife Bianca and daughter Amara. Although Adonis Creed's story has been wrapped up, it will somehow continue in Creed IV, meaning that one underused character could get another chance in the spotlight.

Bianca Creed may not have played a major role in the previous three Creed movies, but a much bigger story is finally being set up for her in Creed IV. While Bianca has had side stories about her music career throughout the first three Creed movies, she has barely been connected to the film's main boxing stories at all. However, Bianca will play a much more active role due to the franchise setting up its next boxer: Amara Creed.
Amara is the daughter of Adonis and Bianca, and it seems as if the franchise is preparing a future for her in the ring. While Amara wants to fight, and Adonis wants to train her, Bianca is completely against their daughter becoming a fighter in Creed III. If Creed IV continues this storyline, the dynamic between the Creed family will become even more strained, as Bianca will have more reason to be against Amara's fighting career. While Adonis and Bianca have gotten along so far, having a major conflict over Amara's future would be the best way to put Bianca in the spotlight.

Bianca deserves to play a bigger role in Amara's boxing career, as the character has been sidelined in every Creed movie so far. Bianca isn't much more than a generic love interest in the first Creed, and she has virtually no impact on the story of Creed II or Creed III. The under usage of Bianca is the biggest problem with the Creed movies, meaning that Creed IV has to fix it.
Bianca being sidelined is made even worse by how much potential the character has. Bianca is played by Tessa Thompson, an actress who has proven she can hold her own throughout her successful filmography. On top of that, Bianca is a hearing-impaired musician, a storyline that could warrant its own movie. Despite Bianca being incredibly interesting, she has been sidelined due to her story not being connected to boxing. However, Amara Creed is the key to tying Bianca back into the main story of Creed IV.
