50% Macabeo, 35% Parellada and 15% Xarel-lo from Spain. This sparkling wine is made in the methode traditionnelle (the same as Champagne) with a secondary fermentation in the bottle to create all those delicious bubbles. It is aged a minimum of 15 months.

The?Segura Viudas Brut Reserva?Cava begins with an inviting aroma of lemon, lime, nectarine, pear and apple plus some floral notes and a touch of fresh baked bread.
Taking a sip reveals a rich, juicy, crisp and very tasty wine. It features similar flavors to the nose with more apple in the mouth and a touch of honey. There are also some nice toasty, nutty notes to round things out. Add to that some beautiful fine bubbles and you've got a winner. It may lack the complexity of some others, but it's really fabulous at this low price.
It ends with a crisp, dry and lingering finish.
