Anthony Albanese gives his 'strongest remarks' on Chinese threat

Sky News host Amanda Stoker says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese gave his "strongest remarks" in relation to the threat of China.

"And yet, in China's contribution to these Dialogues, the question and answer session revealed both a growing anxiety about China's intentions towards Taiwan in the questions, and an aggressive response in the answers," Ms Stoker said.

"Chinese Defence Minister Li Shangfu said Beijing's preference was peaceful unification with Taiwan, which is a self-ruled liberal democracy, but he added that China would never promise to renounce the use of force."
