Tesla has reduced the inventory prices of its entire range, providing potential customers with even greater savings than before. The more affordable Model Y and Model 3 are privy to some serious price cuts, with rear-wheel-driven examples discounted by as much as $2,470, for an appealing entry price of $38,770 - and that's with the $1,000 Deep Blue Metallic paintwork.

We've seen at least five models in the California area with this generous reduction. What's more, this doesn't include the $3,750 tax credit enjoyed by the entry-level Model 3. That means you can pick up a new example for just $35,020 - even less than the recently reintroduced Kia EV6 Light.

The other appealing factor here is that you can get the car immediately, as opposed to waiting for a custom ordered-vehicle.

And it's not just the Model 3 that is privy to these price cuts. Discounts are less generous for the popular Model Y crossover, with examples in California privy to discounts of around $490. Bigger reductions can be found if you look around, though; we found a 2023 example with 798 miles in Washington, DC, with $1,300 off the price. That's good value, especially when you consider the $1,000 optional paintwork and $2,000 20-inch Induction wheels.

If you've got a bigger budget, there are big savings to be had in the upper echelons of the Tesla lineup too. Earlier this year, Tesla slashed the MSRP of the Model S and Model X and then raised the pricing less than two months later. Both models still represent excellent value in their respective classes, but if you want to save even more money, Tesla's new car inventory is hiding some true bargains.

We found multiple examples of the Model S with a massive $5,000 discount, which is remarkable. $83,740 for a premium sedan that can hit 60 mph in 3.1 seconds is a steal. If you're prepared to purchase a Model S with 1,300 miles or so, you can save an additional $1,250.

The Model X is also available with $5,000 off the list price, with some examples offered between $95,000 and $97,000. It's unclear why Tesla has slashed the prices of its inventory across the board. Perhaps the automaker is gunning for strong second-quarter sales figures or just wants to get rid of inventory as quickly as possible. A facelifted Model 3 is rumored to break cover any day now.

This is a great opportunity to get a good deal on a new Tesla. You may not be able to specify the car to your chosen requirements, but with so many vehicles available online, you can get very close to what you want.
