Ahead of the launch of Final Fantasy XVI on June 22, 2023, Square Enix will be hold a special merchandise lottery in Japan to celebrate the occasion. Each entry in the lottery will cost 750 JPY (roughly $5). Tickets will be available at Square Enix official stores, 7 Eleven convenience stores, and Ito Yokado grocery stores in Japan. The lottery goods are scheduled to release on June 30, 2023.
The lineup of the merchandise in the new Final Fantasy XVI lottery includes figures and practical merchandise. There is a diorama figure of Shiva, alongside a special silver version of the figure, bust figurines of eight different Eikons that will appear in the game, a set of shot glasses depicting Eikons Phoenix and Ifrit, cork glass coasters, acrylic stands of young Clive, Joshua, and Jill, character magnets, and clear mats with illustrations.

Final Fantasy XVI will come out for the PlayStation 5 on June 22, 2023. The game will be a timed exclusive for 6 months. Naoki Yoshida recently confirmed that a PC port of the game will start development after the release of the game on PS5.
