The Queen and Princess Anne were both on royal engagements this week and each opted for a chic pastel look for their respective occasion.
The Queen spent Thursday morning (1 June) at The British Racing School at Newmarket, meeting staff, students and of course, some of the magnificent horses themselves.
For the visit, The Queen wore an A-line pattern midi dress with a chic, collarless jacket in pastel blue. She also gave a subtle nod to the day's activities by attaching a sparkling brooch in the shape of a horseshoe to the jacket.
In post on social media, the Royal Family said that The Queen had spent, "a wonderful morning with The British Racing School at Newmarket, as they celebrate their 40th anniversary."
It added that the racing school has more than "25 specialist racing courses on offer" and has "trained thousands of young people to go onto work in the industry with jobs such as stable staff, riding or looking after the sport's racehorses."
Meanwhile, Princess Anne was in Winchester with the Royal Logistics Corps for a special freedom parade, in celebration of the corps' 30th anniversary.
For the occasion, Princess Anne looked stylish in a pastel green coat dress and co-ordinating hat, with contrasting piping.
A post on the official Royal Family social media page explained that, "Her Royal Highness was welcomed with a Royal Salute, before inspecting the Parade which involved over 500 personnel."
The Princess is Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Logistics Corps.
