A group of people was seen inspecting the cabin of the Dorset Belle cruise boat which has been impounded at Cobb's Quay Marine in Poole, Dorset.
This comes after reports officers searched the pleasure boat on Thursday as part of the ongoing investigation into the deaths of two children.
A 17-year-old boy from Southampton and a 12-year-old girl from High Wycombe died in hospital on Wednesday afternoon after sustaining "critical injuries" at Bornemouth beach.
Eight other children, not thought to know the victims, were treated by paramedics at the scene after sustaining minor injuries.
A man who was "on the water" at the time of the incident but not known to the victims had initially been arrested on suspicion of manslaugher.
He was released under investigation on Thursday evening.
