One of Australia's biggest courts has been evacuated with a massive police operation now underway.
The Sydney Downing Centre was evacuated on Friday morning, following reports that a suspicious package was located in the complex.
There are reports of police telling people at the scene 'this is not a drill.'
'The court building remains closed for the time being,' NSW District Court tweeted.
Police have set up an exclusion zone with road closures on Elizabeth, Goulburn and Liverpool Streets in the Sydney CBD.
Delays are expected
'The community is urged to avoid the area and follow police instructions,' a NSW Police statement read
'More information will be provided once it becomes available.'
