6:02 p.m.: The pathway for Tom Brady to own and play quarterback for the Raiders next season is easier than what was originally reported, per Pro Football Talk.

10:58 a.m.: Former Chicago defensive tackle Akiem Hicks signed with Tampa Bay. That may be another indication Ndamukong Suh is headed elsewhere. There has been rumors of the Raiders being interested in him.

10:51 a.m.: ESPN is reporting the Raiders liked what they saw in Colin Kaepernick's workout Wednesday. But a signing does not appear to be imminent. Thus, perhaps they will revisit it later if they don't like what they see from their backups or if there is an injury.

10:52 a.m.: The roster cut-down day will be Tuesday, August 30.

4:35 p.m.: Some news about 2022 roster changes. More freedmon for injured reserve use.

1:55 p.m.: The Raiders added depth on the defensive line by signing former Green Bay defensive lineman Tyler Lancaster. He was in Green Bay with new Las Vegas defensive coordinator Patrick Graham in 2018.

2:06 p.m.: Undrafted free agent running back Sincere McCormick was placed on the injured reserve.

7:59 a.m.: The combine is staying in Indianapolis for the next two years and that's good news for everyone.

2:34 p.m.: The Raiders made a minor roster move.

2:00 p.m.: This is a thing of beauty.

8:26 a.m.: Today is a big day for the Raiders' in their offseason program.

1:46 p.m.: To make room for receiver Jordan Veasy, the Raiders released fullback Sutton Smith. He was signed last year after Alec Ingold tore his ACL. The new Las Vegas regime signed Jakob Johnson (who was in New England with new head coach Josh McDaniels), so Smith was expendable.

8:01 a.m.: The Raiders are signing wide receiver Jordan Veasy. He has been in camp with several teams and played two games with Houston last season. He is a long shot to make the roster.

8:05 a.m.: Linebacker K.J. Wright, who spent last season with the Raiders, could return to Seattle.

3:51 p.m.: Another key member of the Raiders' business side has departed the team.

2:00 p.m.: After adding two running backs in the draft and adding in undrafted free agency, the Raiders cut running back Trey Ragas on Thursday. It is not a surprise. He was signed as an undrafted free agent last year and played in one game and spent most of the season on the practice squad. He had one carry and two catches.

1:50 p.m.: Now, Charles Woodson has answered Brady.

1:44 p.m.: The Raiders are rolling out numbers of their draft picks.

1:01 p.m.: The Chargers signed a linebacker the Raiders were connected to.

4:28 p.m.: Dave Ziegler has added to his front office by adding longtime scout Lenny McGill to the Raiders.

3:49 p.m.: In keeping with Nevada guidelines, vaccines/masks will not be required for Raiders' home games in 2022. This was expected.

2:58 p.m.: The Raiders are reportedly making more changes in their front office. This often happens this time of year, especially when their is a regime change.

2:12 p.m.: It appears the Giants are close to releasing cornerback James Bradberry. He has played for new Raiders' defensive coordinator Patrick Graham and the Raiders could use help at cornerback. It will be something to watch if/when Bradberry hits the open market.

7:49 a.m.: The NFL announced its five international games for the 2022 season. No, the Raiders aren't playing in one of them.

4:08 p.m.: The Chargers added to the secondary.

3:54 p.m.: Apparently, the Mullen medical issue is not overly serious.

12:32 p.m.: Raiders' cornerback Travon Mullen is having a surgery. It is unknown what it is and how long his recovery time is.

10:21 a.m.: The Raiders rookie minicamp is coming up.

7:23 a.m.: Brown quarterback EJ Perry is signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was often connected to the Raiders prior to the draft.

2:20 p.m.: The Chiefs have made a trade.

12:02 p.m.: A veteran cornerback is off the market as Jason Verrett as returned to the 49ers.

9:35 a.m.: A player often connected to the Raiders lands in the AFC West.

8:47 a.m.: The free agent market may start picking up.
