In a major boost to the All Blacks and Crusaders, Will Jordan has re-signed with New Zealand Rugby (NZR) until the 2027 Rugby World Cup.
The 25-year-old has recommitted to the Crusaders and will remain aligned with NPC side Tasman.
The talented outside back has struggled with injuries of late but returned to action this month and has scored one try and assisted three in just three games for the Crusaders.
"I'm hugely excited to re-sign with New Zealand Rugby and the Crusaders for four years," Jordan said.
"Both teams mean a lot to me, and this deal gives me the chance to focus on becoming the best player I can be, and help these teams chase success."
Jordan follows the likes of Rieko Ioane and Samisoni Taukei'aho, who have made long-term commitments through to 2027.
"This is another key signing for New Zealand," said All Blacks coach Ian Foster. "Will is a quality person first and foremost. And his class off the field translates to what we see from him as a player.
"His ongoing commitment to New Zealand is exciting."
NZR CEO Mark Robinson added: "We are proud of what Will has achieved in our game. We know about the work he puts in and the level of professionalism he brings to the teams he represents."
Incoming All Blacks coach and current Crusaders boss Scott Robertson added: "Will's skillset and anticipation set him apart, his timing on and off the ball is world-class.
"His game management and understanding is critical to the Crusaders' performance both on and off the field."
Jordan impressed as a schoolboy playing for Christchurch Boys' High. In 2015, he scored a remarkable 19 tries in 11 games.
He featured for New Zealand U20s in 2017 helping the side win the World Rugby U20 Championship, making his NPC debut later that year for Tasman.
In 2019, he played a starring role in Tasman's maiden premiership title in 2019, scoring twice in the 31-14 win over Wellington in the final in Nelson.
He also made his Super Rugby debut that year and has gone on to win four titles with the side since.
In 2020, he made his Test debut for the All Blacks against Australia and enjoyed a breakout season a year later.
He has since become the second-fastest player in history to reach 15 career tries for the All Blacks.
Jordan has played 21 times for the for the All Blacks, four times as a replacement, and has scored 21 tries.
