The 2023 BottleRock Napa Valley music festival is underway this holiday weekend at the Napa Valley Expo in Napa Valley, California.
After keeping their skills sharp and honed with a show in San Francisco on Friday, Paris Jackson and her band made their way to the three-day event on Saturday.
Facing the task of kicking off day two on the Jam Cellers Stage in the afternoon, Jackson proudly delivered her brand of pop-rock.
Showing off her unique sense of style, the 25-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson teased her midriff in a cropped white tee and flared maroon plaid pants.
The sleeveless design of her shirt allowed her to show off the growing array of tattoos up and down her arms and shoulders.
The Beverly Hills native would match her vintage-looking ensemble with a pair of brown suede boots.
Her brown and blonde locks were styled long and flowing as she whipped her head around during the performance.
At times she tried to grab hold of the growing audience by patrolling the stage with just the microphone in hand.
And then there were tunes where she sang and played guitar at the same time.
After banging out their 45 minute set as opener, Jackson returned for a second performance on the Jam Cellers Jampad in the late afternoon for a short 20 minute jam.
The headlining artists for day two included Duran Duran, Lizzo and Nile Rodgers & Chic, with other performance throughout the day by the likes of Meute, Carley Rae Jaspen, Leon Bridges, Tove Lo, Cautious Clay, Lupe Fiasco, Dogstar, which features Keanu Reeves, Three Sacred Souls, Jax, Dayglow, and Japanese Breakfast, among many others.
The final day of the festival, on Sunday, will feature the headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lil Nas X, as well as Wu-Tang Clan, The National, Sheryl Crowe and Los Lobos, to name a few.
Jackson came into the the show on the heels of releasing her new single, Bandaid, which made use of the soft-hard dynamic between the verses and chorus, that's been a stylized songwriting tool with some of the alternative rock bands of yesteryear like Nirvana.
Her previous single, Just You, that dropped in 2022, is also another catchy sing-along, mid-tempo rock romper.
Jackson last released a batch of new songs with The Lost EP, which is just that, an extended play that dropped in February 2022 through Republic Records.
The musician and actress is currently out on tour with scattered show through the months of May through July, according to her website.
Just a few years ago, the musician was releasing music as part of the musical duo The Soundflowers, alongside Gabriel Glenn.
With a stripped down acoustic sound, including Jackson on vocals and a ukulele and Glenn on guitar and vocal, The Soundflowers dropped their first self-titled EP in June 2020.
