Rosemary is no more in IMPACT Wrestling (at least for the time being) and fans will now get to see Courtney Rush in action.
The Canadian Wrestler debuted for IMPACT Wrestling in 2016 as part of Decay, the bizarre, macabre stable which included Crazzy Steve and Abyss. That November, Rosemary won the IMPACT Knockouts Championship and is a three-time IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champion.
During this week's episode of IMPACT on AXS TV, it was revealed that Rosemary has undergone a gimmick change. Later in the show, Rosemary, now going by the name Courtney Rush, came to the ring to save Jessicka, who was being attacked by The Coven. Rush explained that she is Rosemary's human vessel, and the only reason that Rosemark has been present is that she had possessed Rush.
Courtney Rush has competed in multiple promotions prior to her arrival in IMPACT Wrestling and being possessed by the spirit of Rosemary. In March 2011, she returned to Shimmer Women Athletes, after previously working under the name PJ Tyler. Rush is a former Shimmer Tag Team Champion, a title she held with fellow wrestling veteran Sara Del Rey. Rush has also held gold in other all-female promotions, including Bellatrix Female Warriors and nCW Femmes Fatales.
Outside of IMPACT, Rosemary competed in 2017 as part of AAA's TripleMania XXV event in 2017. The four-way match for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship is best remembered for the finish which saw Sexy Star submit Rosemark with an armbar. The move saw Rosemary's arm legitimately pop out of the socket, leading to speculation that the move was a shoot.
