Easy Homemade Pizza Sauce Recipe
Do you like to make your own pizza? It's even better when you make your own sauce, which is easy to do with this Easy Homemade Pizza Sauce Recipe.
This sauce is easy to make because you start with canned tomatoes. But the key to a flavorful sauce is to use GOOD tomatoes. Not all canned tomato brand are created equal.
We recommend a high quality brand of crushed tomatoes. Products made with San Marzano tomatoes are the best, like the Cento tomatoes we used in our recipe.

This sauce also tastes great making french bread pizzas, or you can turn bagels or english muffins into pizzas for quick lunch!
INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 Garlic cloves minced
1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
In a medium saucepan heat oil on medium.
Cook garlic in pan for several minutes.
Add crushed tomatoes, juices, salt, and oregano to pan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.
Makes enough sauce for at least 4 pizzas.
