Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan has heaped praise on Brighton after an "intense" game at the Amex Stadium.
Brighton and City played out a 1-1 draw at the Amex Stadium on Wednesday night, with Julio Enciso scoring a superb goal from outside the area to cancel out Phil Foden's opener for the Premier League champions.
It was a result that confirmed Brighton's place in the Europa League for next season, with the Seagulls now guaranteed to finish sixth in the top flight this season.

That is the first time that Brighton have qualified for European football in the club's history, with the Seagulls earning widespread praise for their performances, results and style of football under Italian boss Roberto De Zerbi.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is among those to have hailed the work of De Zerbi, describing him as one of the most influential managers in the last 20 years.
And City midfielder Gundogan has added his name to the list of people impressed by Brighton, with the German international offering his verdict on the game and the Seagulls qualifying for the Europa League.
Writing on Twitter, Gundogan said: "1-1 in a very intense game. Congrats to @OfficialBHAFC on reaching the Europa League, they have been amazing this season, playing lovely football - respect what they are building there."
