ESPN will reportedly cancel Max Kellerman's This Just In show to make way for The Pat McAfee Show, according to Front Office Sports.
This Just In currently holds the 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET slot on ESPN's main channel.
The sports world took to Twitter to react to this news.
"I actually like Max Kellerman. Would much rather have him on instead of Pat McAfee," one fan wrote.
"Max has boxing, he will be fine. ESPN got tired of him stanning the NY Giants every day," another said.
"That doesn't surprise me a bit. I mean let's be honest Max Kellerman is nice and all but he is not THE AWESOME One and Only Pat McAfee," another added.
This is reportedly "one of many" changes on the horizon for ESPN. The network is trying to trim up to $30 million in salary by the end of June, according to FOS.
ESPN recently signed McAfee on a contract that will reportedly pay him around $10 million per year. The Pat McAfee Show gained some serious popularity on YouTube, and will now make its way to The Worldwide Leader.
Even if his TV show gets cancelled, it doesn't necessarily mean Kellerman is leaving ESPN. He also co-hosts ESPN Radio's "Keyshawn, JWill & Max."
