Scott Morrison opposes the Voice in parliamentary address
Former prime minister Scott Morrison has said he opposes the Voice to Parliament in an address to all politicians.
"Morrison says that he supports constitutional recognition of Aboriginal people but not enshrining the Voice in the constitution," according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.
"He argues a previous body ATSIC which actually funded communities and was not just an advisory body like the Voice is proposed to be, had to be disbanded by a parliament - and he says this could not happen with the Voice if the referendum is successful."
