Amazon was founded in 1994, but it would take the company about 15 years before it changed the world as we know it. Now synonymous with online shopping, the retailer offers anything your heart could ever want. Including some high-end items and valuable collectibles.

The most expensive items on Amazon include vases, luxury watches and tons of sports memorabilia. But to make things more equal, we've only included one item per category.

You won't believe how much they cost.

French crystal studio Daum is known for its rare pieces that are made by hand. They've been operating since 1878 and were all the rage with wealthy socialites in the Art Nouveau period. And while us peasants might not be familiar with them, anyone with taste and deep pockets would be happy to pay over $27,000 for this one-of-a-kind vase.

If that price is still too low for your royal tastes, check out the world's most expensive vases.

Who knew history could be listed on Amazon? Own a piece of America's past with this 1787 note handwritten by none other than founding father Benjamin Franklin. You know, the guy who invented the lightning rod, eventually giving way to us being able to control electricity?

The paper has a certificate of authenticity and is guaranteed for life. Since Franklin will continue being an important historical figure for as long as America exists, this paper will probably keep increasing in value.

Men grow cold and women get old, but diamonds are forever. So goes the (quite sexist) saying. And while the slogan comes from a marketing ploy, its promise of eternity isn't exaggerated. These beautiful stud earrings have certified round-cut diamonds. They're also guaranteed to be conflict-free so that you can sparkle without guilt. (Except, maybe, the guilt of spending $60,000 on jewelry.)

One of the most famous basketball players of all time, Michael Jordan is legendary. So much so, that people will still pay $75,000 for his signed portrait card, over 20 years after he retired. This Chicago Bulls memorabilia is 16" x 13.5" with the frame and would be a great addition to a collector's treasures.

Price: $99,000

The most expensive watch on Amazon costs just under $100,000. It's a Patek Philipe Annual Calendar Moonphase watch. The 38-millimeter case is made with 18-karat rose gold. We won't deny the watch is beautiful and elegant, but our pockets would laugh at the mere thought of buying it. If money is no object to you, buy it for the rest of us who can't.

Coins can be an extremely valuable collector's item. Case in point, this 1891 $1 Silver Morgan New Orleans coin, priced at $164,000. The coin is part of the Illinois Set, which coin enthusiasts know is one of the sets that can bring you the most dollars. Its great condition also contributes to its high price. If taken care of, this item will definitely appreciate in value.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has a lot of fans. Need proof? The high value of this RPA (rookie patch auto). These items are usually made with a signed piece of a player's jersey. And while the most famous ones can go for millions, $218,000 isn't bad for a 2017 item.
