Swansea boss Russell Martin is reportedly set to become the new manager at recently relegated Southampton with his appointment set to be confirmed 'next week'.
The 37-year-old was reportedly among the candidates to become City's next permanent boss with Dean Smith's contract expiring at the end of the current campaign
Reports claimed that he was 'top of the list' of potential candidates to take over at the King Power Stadium next season. The Foxes are likely to be relegated to the Championship as they sit two points from safety with just two games left.

But according to the Athletic, Martin is set to take over at St Mary's next season with his appointment expected to be confirmed 'next week.' They report that 'no formal approach' has been made but 'there is an increased expectation' a deal will be done.
Our sister site WalesOnline, reported that Martin was due to 'sit down' with Swansea chairman Andy Coleman this week for 'talks'. The manager has just one year remaining on his current deal at the Liberty Stadium.
The former Rangers and Norwich player has been Swansea's manager since joining from Milton Keynes Dons in the summer of 2021. He led the Swans to an impressive end-of-season run which saw them win seven of their final nine Championship games, although they finished three points off the playoff places.
