A planning application which would see a vacant house "in a state of disrepair" demolished has been submitted.
Under the plan received by Hertsmere Borough Council on May 4, 5 Bourne Road, in Bushey, would be replaced with three three-bedroom houses for market, with two being semi-detached and one detached.
A planning statement attached to the proposal describes the existing building as a four-bedroom house built circa 1930 "which has been vacant for a number of years and is in a state of disrepair".
Each home would have its own garden and parking spaces.

Another plan to demolish an older home in Bushey is also being considered by Hertsmere Borough Council.
Under that plan, 90 Aldenham Road, Bushey, would become two flats per floor over three floors with three two-bedrooms and three one-bedrooms.
According to a design and access statement submitted with the plan on March 16, the existing building is "tired-looking".
