Two iconic actors in Hollywood with multiple Disney roles to their credit have revealed that they've been married for the past 30 years, and no one had any idea.

Since the Golden Age of Hollywood, celebrity couples have garnered the attention of fans around the world. There's something about being the fan of a Hollywood celebrity and discovering who they're married to. Although from time to time, heartbreak can arise from discovering that your favorite actor has already given his heart and affection to another. (We're looking at you, John Krasinski and Jon Hamm.)
Over the years, some celebrity couples have become icons of the times, serving as mile markers along the journey through the last several decades. And while we love hearing about our favorite celebrities and their lives away from the cameras, sometimes things can go too far, as in the case of Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard, who starred in their very own real-life courtroom drama for six weeks in 2022. We love Captain Jack, but some of the topics discussed during the defamation trial between the two got extremely graphic, and fans learned things they'd rather not have known.

This week, another celebrity "couple" is making the spotlight. The only difference between this couple and the others mentioned above is that no one knew they were a couple. Actor Keanu Reeves suggested this week that he's actually married to actress Winona Ryder. That's despite the fact that Reeves has been in a relationship with girlfriend Alexandra Grant since at least 2019, and Winona Ryder has been in a relationship with boyfriend Scott Mackinlay Hahn since 2011.

Both Reeves and Ryder have spoken about an iconic moment they filmed for a 1992 Francis Ford Coppola movie. In Bram Stoker's Dracula, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder play the roles of Jonathan Harker and Mina Harker, respectively. The two characters are married in a scene during the film, and according to Reeves, it was not a simple stage wedding. In fact, Reeves goes so far as to say that the wedding was real.

"We did a whole take of a marriage ceremony with real priests," Reeves explained in an interview with Esquire magazine. "Winona [Ryder] says we are [married], and [Francis Ford] Coppola says we are [married.] So, I guess we're married under the eyes of God."
During an interview in 2018 with Entertainment Weekly about her upcoming film, ironically titled, Destination Wedding, Winona Ryder shared the same sentiments about the on-screen wedding.

"We actually got married in 'Dracula,'" the actress said. "I think we're married in real life. In that scene, Francis used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master, and he did the whole thing, so I think we're married."
Reeves and Ryder have admitted to having "big, healthy" crushes on each other over the years and have worked together on a number of film projects. But remarkably, neither has ever been married. Except that now fans know they might just have been married to each other all along.
