Chase and Savannah Chrisley are "desperately" trying to get a new reality TV show to save themselves from potential financial ruin, but networks don't appear to be biting, a new report claims.

The siblings shot to fame after starring in "Chrisley Knows Best" and its spinoff, "Growing Up Chrisley." However, both shows were axed after Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of federal tax crimes and sent to prison.

"Chase and Savannah have been desperate to be back on TV and at this point are willing to go with any network that wants them," a source told DailyMail.com.

The search for a reignited reality TV career is not going well, as networks reportedly see the kids as "a liability," given their family's legal woes and drama. Plus, neither sibling is really being viewed as a legitimate star that can draw in viewers.

"They are having a difficult time finding anyone, frankly, because Todd is what made the show," the source continued. "If USA Network was interested in them alone, they would have kept Growing Up Chrisley on the air."

There's also another factor going against the kids: the family reality show portrayed the Chrisleys as well to do, as they lived a lavish life in Nashville, Tenn. After Todd and Julie's conviction, their true financial situation was exposed.

"They didn't have the money that they claimed to have, their family was not as perfect as they wanted people to believe it was," the source said, adding their the picture-perfect life was "built on a stack of lies."

After Todd and Julie's convictions, they were ordered to pay a $17.2 million fine for restitution. The financial burden has left the kids in a "fight or flight" mode.

"Unfortunately, Chase and Savannah spent money like it would never end and they didn't save a ton of money for a rainy day," the source says. "They are both really banking on a network to grab their show and for it to be a success. Hopefully, for them, it is because they are running out of options and money fast."

Back in February, Savannah acknowledged that she was interested in reality TV, revealing on her Unlocked podcast that she and her team were "talking to a few production companies about doing another show."
