A common misconception about a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is that it's just for kids. That could not be farther from the truth. Need evidence? Beer, wine, and cocktail options abound at the Most Magical Place On Earth. You may have heard that alcoholic beverages are sold only in Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. While this was true, it is no longer the case; in 2012, Disney's Magic Kingdom Park began selling alcohol.
Disney World is not just for kids and families; it is also a great place for adult fun and entertainment, and sampling new drinks is a way to enjoy an adult activity on a magical vacation. So now it's time to dive into the common question of where to find alcoholic beverages in the Magic Kingdom. Let's take a boozy tour of the Park to hit some of my favorite beverage highlights in Disney's Magic Kingdom.

As you walk onto Main Street, U.S.A., you will notice charming Tony's Town Square Restaurant. Inspired by the romantic spot that served up that famous spaghetti and meatballs to Lady and the Tramp, you'll find Italian American cuisine at this spot. The menu also offers an assortment of beer, wine, and cocktails.
If you are a fan of bubbles like I am, try the Nino Franco 'Rustico' Prosecco. Are you craving Italian beer? Choose the Peroni 'Nastro Azzuro' Euro Pale Lager. Suppose you want to try a unique cocktail with plenty of Italian flair. In that case, I suggest the Limoncello Sidecar made with Caravella Limoncello Liqueur, Cointreau Liqueur, Laird's Applejack Brandy, and Lemon Juice.

You will find an excellent character dining spot at the other end of Main Street, U.S.A., where you can meet Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the 100 Acre Wood. This buffet-style meal offers American cuisine that will hit the spot during a Disney Park day.
You can also enjoy alcoholic beverages like an assortment of wines and beer like Bud Light, Michelob, Blue Moon, Cigar City, and Angry Orchard. Cocktails include White Sangria, Bloody Marys, and a signature cocktail called Last Word. Last Word is pricey at $18 and is made with Fords Gin, Green Chartreuse Liqueur, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, and Lime Juice garnished with Luxardo Cherries.

Across the street at the Plaza Restaurant, you will find upscale lunch cuisine like fresh sandwiches, burgers, and pasta, perfect for lunch or dinner. You can enjoy beer and wine that will pair well with your meal. I suggest the Indaba Sauvignon Blanc wine or a Blue Moon Belgian White Ale if you are craving a beer.
Honestly, what could be more relaxing and fabulous than a mimosa on Main Street, U.S.A.?! So that is my cocktail recommendation for The Plaza Restaurant. Order The Plaza Mimosa. Still, I must say that the Marceline Mudslide gets an honorable mention for decadence and boozy flavor!

Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen is an Adventureland staple restaurant that offers a variety of exotic beers and a selection of Asian and Latin-inspired dishes. The atmosphere is adventurous and exotic, with a menu featuring spicy stir-fry and curry dishes.

We recommend trying the African-inspired dark ale brewed in the beer department, specifically for Disney Parks. Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale is Florida brewed and served as a 16-oz draft pour. If you are a cocktail lover like me, why not try The Jungle Bird or the Tropical Sangria? The Jungle Bird is made with a blend of Gosling Black Seal Rum, Campari Liqueur, and Cane Syrup, with Pineapple and Lime Juices. Meanwhile, the Tropical Sangria has a white wine base and a blend of fresh tropical juices with a refreshing hint of ginger.
Liberty Tree Tavern is a Liberty Square located colonial-style restaurant that offers a variety of beers as well as traditional American fare. The atmosphere is cozy and traditional, with a menu featuring roast turkey and pot roast dishes. Pair your meal with the Long Island-produced Blue Point Toasted Lager or a classic Samuel Adams seasonal brew. My specialty cocktail choice at this table service restaurant is the Gold Rush, made with Elijah Craig 12yr Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Lemon Juice, and Honey garnished with crunchy crystalized ginger.

There is only one spot to snag a drink in Frontierland: The Diamond Horseshoe. This pioneer-themed dinner show is a unique Disney Park day experience to share with your family. Another bottomless dining option, you'll chow down on food like roasted turkey, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, roasted pork, and corn on the cobb. Pair your meal with wine, beer, or cocktails. The Spirit of '76 Cider Shandy is a fun beer-esque cocktail made from Sam Adams Lager topped with Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Hard Cider. The Liberty Sangria is also on the menu at this spot if you are looking to enjoy a fruitier drink.

What was the first location to begin serving up spirits in Magic Kingdom Park? None other than the Fantasyland dining staple Be Our Guest Restaurant. This table service dining spot takes Guests into the Beast's enchanted castle and serves up French food with a fun twist. What would a French restaurant be without wine?

With over 22 wines on the menu and wine sampler options for Guests, vino lovers may have a tough time choosing what to sip at Be Our Guest Restaurant. My choice would be a glass of L'ombre de la Bête Vin Rouge, known as the Shadow of the Beast. This Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the Rhone Valley of France is delightful and rare on menus near my home in Georgia.

This spot is notoriously popular and its difficult to snag a reservation. That figures, everyone wants a chance to see the inside of the iconic Cinderella Castle! You can enjoy a cocktail, wine, or beer at this spot to drink with your meal. Expect entree options like roasted pork, beef tenderloin, or a stunning charcuterie plate and pair it with a glass of wine or even a tasting flight.
Flights like Belle of the Ball Flight, Royal Sparkling Flight, The Stepsisters Flight, and The Castle Flight will allow you to taste three different mini servings of sparkling wine. If you love variety and trying new things, this option is for you!
If you are counting the lands, you know we missed one. Yep, there is no alcohol sold in Tomorrowland. You cannot take alcohol into the Walt Disney World Park, but you can buy alcohol in each Disney Park. In addition to these adult beverage offerings in the Park, you can find plenty of alcohol near the Magic Kingdom as well.

Disney's Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian Resort, and Polynesian Village Resort are all just a short monorail ride away and offer fun spots to snag alcohol during a break from the Park. Trader Sam's Grog Grotto, Tambu Lounge, and Outer Rim are fantastic spots to grab drinks outside the theme Park!
