The Kansas City Chiefs could get one broadcast duo for most of their games in the 2023 season, and some fans may not like it.
Everyone has their favorites when it comes to broadcast crews and which play-by-play and color commentators cover their favorite teams game. There are duos that people hate, and there are duos that people love. For the Chiefs and their fans, they have favorites and least favorites too.
One duo that it seems fans don't really like is Jim Nantz and Tony Romo, which could be the duo that we see for the majority of the Chiefs games in 2023.

The Chiefs have six primetime games, which means that are six games that those two will not be commentating over. They have nine games that are going to be on CBS, which is the network the duo does their work on. The Chiefs have one game on Fox this season, where they had a few last year. But, they usually don't play on Fox a whole lot.
"There's a really strong chance we'd see them Divisional Weekend and AFC Championship Week, and maybe even in Las Vegas [for Super Bowl LVIII]," Nantz said. "So, you add it up, if they were to make that kind of run all the way to the Super Bowl, I think it adds up to nine games that we would see. Eight or nine games of the Chiefs."
But there are reports that Nantz and Romo could potentially have nine Chiefs games in 2023, which may make some fans mad. A lot of people love the duo, and I am one of them. But, I think more people hate the duo.
The two of them work great together, but sometimes fans don't like how much Tony Romo over-analyzes the game. Sometimes he will say what is going to happen, and at times it ruins the moment for fans. They also have a problem where they interrupt each other a lot, which can get annoying for sure.
If I'm a Chiefs fan though, I'm happy about that. Romo loves his quarterbacks, and he will go on and on about the things Mahomes does well all game long, which is always good to hear. Some fans may split hairs on this news.
