Sara Haines seems to have forgotten that she works on a daytime talk show.

During Wednesday's (May 17) episode of The View, Haines shocked her fellow co-hosts after she made a NSFW comment on-air.

The hosts were discussing ABC's recent announcement that they will be expanding the Bachelor universe to include the "golden years." In The Golden Bachelor, one lucky senior citizen will have the chance to date women with a "lifetime of experience," according to ABC's description of the show.

As Whoopi Goldberg put it, "I'm calling it the 'Old People's Bachelor.'" So began the the co-hosts colorful commentary on the upcoming show, of which they all had many things to say.

Alyssa Farah Griffin shared that she thought this was "a good idea." According to Griffin, "A lot of couples on The Bachelor don't stay together, it's people in their young 20s, a lot of 23-year-old girls. I think having a 60+ bachelor and bachelorettes will actually be more likely to last in a relationship, because you know who you are and what you want."

Haines was similarly optimistic about the show's direction, saying using older cast members will make the show more "relatable" and showed that "there are chapters left in your life" at that age.

Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar couldn't help themselves from cracking jokes about the show, however. Hostin remarked that the Fantasy Suite would show the couples napping.

Haines wasn't here for the jokes. "You guys, these are only 60-year-olds!" she said. "Do you know how young 60 is? I know 60-year-olds, they run marathons. They do -"

Her mic's audio abruptly cut off mid-sentence, while the camera cut to Goldberg, capturing her shocked expression.

"Oh my god," Haines said, putting her head down to the table. The audience and her co-hosts laughed at the slip-up.

Haines and The View have not provided comment on the moment. It's still unclear what exactly she said that warranted getting her audio cut while on-air.

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
