Sheffield Wednesday have to create play-off history if their season is to be extended for one more game.

The Owls host Peterborough United tomorrow night in the second leg of their semi-final trailing 4-0 after a horror show in last week's first chapter down in Cambridgeshire.

Darren Moore will surely be thrust into making alterations. The message has to be to attack from the first whistle, with Wednesday in need of a miracle. To that end we predict an attack-heavy side. Moore will have the same group of players to choose from in Thursday's tie but we have gone for two changes.

We'd bring Reece James into defence. Aden Flint was one of many below-par last week and the experiment with him and Michael Ihiekwe in a back three didn't work. We'd drop both Flint and Dominic Iorfa.

Ihiekwe should go central, with James to his left and Liam Palmer to his right. We'd stick with Marvin Johnson at left wing-back purely because there is no viable alternative. Callum Paterson can fill in at right wing-back and offers yet another attacking threat.

Josh Windass can play the number ten role, allowing Lee Gregory to partner Michael Smith up front.

Wednesday need a huge performance from every single player on Thursday. Even then, it looks unlikely. But if they are to bow out at the semi-final stage yet again, they may as well go out swinging.
