Actor John Travolta was thinking of his late wife Kelly Preston this Mother's Day. The Grease star and their two surviving children, Ben and Ella wished Preston a happy holiday. Simply writing online, "We miss you and love you."
Travolta has always used his Instagram page to commemorate his wife. Preston sadly passed on July 12, 2020 from breast cancer.

The video Travolta posted was of happier times. Shared by @etalkctv on TikTok, it shows Preston marveling at a Mother's Day gift she received in the past.
"Oh my god!" she said before holding up the box, which had "Mom" written on it, to the camera. "But first I want to hold it like this," she said.
Her face really said it all. Preston looked absolutely thrilled to be receiving the present, which we can only imagine was from Travolta and their children; Ben, Ella, and Jett. Tragically, Jett also passed in 2016.
Us Weekly reports the couple first met back in 1987 while working on the movie The Experts.
"I see, no lie, coming across the hall with his two dogs, this really hot guy," Preston recalled to the magazine in 2018. "Then he stops and says hello. And I was like, 'Oh s-t. Kill me now.' You know, like, 'Oh, my God,'" she recalled.
The two later married, twice, in 1990.
After Preston's passing in 2020, Travolta wrote that he would be stepping away from the spotlight to care for his two surviving children.
"Kelly's love and life will always be remembered," he wrote on Instagram. "I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don't hear from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal."
