Will Cain of Fox and Friends on Morant video: 'Does Ja Morant not have 2A rights?'

Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant is in hot water yet again for flashing a gun on social media.

He's not just in the crosshairs of criticism, either. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski seems to think a rather significant suspension could be heading Morant's way.

It seems that most -- critics and fans alike -- think that Morant flashing a weapon on Instagram Live was an incredibly unwise (if not just straight-up stupid) move from a player who was already suspended for eight games by the NBA for posting a video of him holding a gun in a night club.

Not everybody seems to think Morant deserves to be suspended, though. For instance, Will Cain of Fox and Friends brought up the second amendment as it relates to the video.

"Explain to me something. Does Ja Morant not have 2A rights?" Cain asked on Twitter. "Can he not do what he wants outside of his work environment if it's still legal? It may be stupid, but I don't know what he's done to be suspended."

While Cain is right that as an American, Morant has the right to keep and bear Arms, the point that Cain seems to be missing is that both the Grizzlies and the NBA are image and entertainment-based businesses. Flashing a gun on Instagram Live isn't illegal in any way, but both the Grizzlies and the NBA could easily say that Morant's conduct was detrimental to their business -- especially since this is far from his first incident.

It will be interesting to see if Morant is suspended and if so, for how long.
