Fans were shocked in April when it was revealed that Jamie Foxx had experienced an undisclosed medial emergency while working on a new film in Atlanta. At first, it seemed that the actor was making improvements, but the latest reports indicate a very dire prognosis.

Several news outlets are reporting that Jamie's loved ones are worried about a possible turn.

HypeBeast has cited unnamed reports that claim Jamie's friends and family are "preparing for the worst" just weeks after it seemed as if Jamie would be coming home soon. Fans are still in the dark about exactly what landed the Ray star in the hospital in the first place, because his family and reps haven't released any updated details about the situation.
We know that Jamie was taken to the hospital in April.
Fans first learned that the 55-year-old had suffered a medical emergency when his daughter Corinne posted about it on his Instagram page.
"Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery," the original post read. "We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time."
According to USA Today, the post was later removed and a new text-only statement was made by Jamie, reassuring fans he was OK, but it didn't offer too much in the way of answers.
Another post was made to Jamie's account on May 4.

Someone posted, "Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed," prompting even more speculation about what could be going on.
"Nope, I need to see his face, and him talking. I don't trust a word post," one person wrote.
But even with all the suspicion and speculation, it really appeared Jamie was on the road to recovery.
Reports indicated that Jamie was almost ready to head home.

A source spoke to People editor Nigel Smith at the end of April, according to ABC News 7, and revealed that Jamie was "stable and not in a life-threatening situation now."
They added that "[doctors] are doing more tests and want to be completely sure that he will be OK before allowing him to" be discharged. Jamie was given strict instructions to "keep his stress level down" once he gets home, according to Nigel.

Without confirmation from Jamie's family, his official representatives, or Jamie himself, it's hard to know exactly what's going on behind the closed doors of Jamie's hospital room. One thing is for sure, though: Whatever is happening, Jamie and those close to him would really like their privacy right now. We hope that they're able to get it.
