The ladies of The View had a lot to say about Donald Trump's recent Town Hall, with Joy Behar admitting she was "wrong" for saying that CNN should give him a platform.

While Behar told the panel that she's a "very big defender of the First Amendment," what she didn't know was that Wednesday night's (May 10) audience would be "filled with [Trump's] cult."

"I would like to know if CNN was passing out Kool-Aid before the event started," Behar quipped, before pointing out that the "annoying" audience was clapping when he was "trashing" E Jean Carroll - the woman he was found liable for sexually abusing and defaming earlier this week.

"If I do a comedy show and everybody loves me, I'm gonna be funnier. But if you have people who don't particularly think you're that funny, you have to work harder," Behar said. "Well, that's what I saw last night. I saw a bad standup comedian with a bunch of people in his cult who love him."

She added, "That is not American as far as I'm concerned. That is not American."

Meanwhile, Alyssa Farah Griffin - who previously worked under the Trump administration - disagreed with Behar as she explained that we live in a "democracy."

"America got to see who he is last night - a ranting, raving lunatic," Griffin said of her former boss. "He didn't win a single voter. That was radioactive for independents and moderates. It's not the media's job to decide who is gonna be the president, who should get a platform, who should be on television."

Griffin later caught the ire of Sunny Hostin when she said that Kaitlan Collins - the moderator of the event - did a "masterful" job.

"Masterful job? Wow," Hostin snarked, while her co-host continued, "As a young woman, seeing a 30-year-old journalist take it to one of the most powerful men in the world - I have been bulldozed by him, Hillary Clinton was bulldozed by him. She got in there."

However, Hostin wasn't buying it as she sarcastically replied, "It only took her an hour to do that," before adding, "I don't think that she was prepared. I don't think he should've been given a platform."

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
