Every application permitted by the city council this week

Every planning application put before Winchester City Council was permitted this week.

In Denmead, Gary Owen had an application permitted for work at Maisdene School Lane. It was for a second storey to be built on the existing bungalow, two-storey side extension; new side chimney; ground floor rear extension; glazed veranda and porch, with double garage extension to front; dwelling/garage facing materials with brick plinth and timber cladding; relocation of front driveway/access with gate; drainage ditch reinstated; front garden conversion to paving grid for extra parking.

Mr and Mrs Priddy can remove an existing 1.8m wood fence and replace it with 2m fence of close boarded fence panels, concrete posts and concrete baseboards. This is at 30 Great Mead, Denmead.

In Littleton, Mr and Mrs Meharg had an application permitted for raising of the roof, extensions to the front, side and rear, and installation of rooflights to the existing bungalow at 6 Bercote Close.

William Sykes, in Harestock, had an application permitted for the demolition of existing front single storey store and construction of single storey extension to front at 178 Buriton Road.

Dr Sarah Noble's application was permitted for 16 solar PV panels on the western roof slope of the dwellinghouse, 14 solar panels on the roof of the carport and 12 panels on the shed. This is at Lawn House, Main Road.

In Alresford, Clement Pierlot had an application permitted to construct a winery with associated landscaping and parking at Pinglestone Farm, Abbotstone Road.

In Winchester, Mrs Reid had an application permitted for the removal of modern door to basement and widen entrance at 19 West End Terrace.

Mark Rides had an application permitted for the change of use of 6 Kingsgate Street from college house in multiple occupation to a day study house. This includes internal decorations, new flooring and formation of shower rooms with minimal disruption to current layout and other works.
