"I know this play already," Arenas said. "We're gonna get these games over with, and then LeBron can just rest for a while. Have like seven or eight days off. The league is gonna get this over with, so that means that Monday or Wednesday, the series is over with. Monday, Wednesday, season. Then LeBron don't gotta play again until next Wednesday, Thursday, [or] maybe Friday. Then we got like eight or nine days off."

The Los Angeles Lakers currently hold a comfortable 3-1 lead over the Golden State Warriors. The Purple and Gold can wrap things up in Game 5 at the Chase Center.
While what Arenas said could be beneficial for the NBA in the longer run, having a Game 7 showdown between LeBron James and Stephen Curry would be excellent for ratings as well.
If the Lakers do end up closing out the series in the next couple of games, we hope it will be due to their play, not some narrative.
