Kim was recently spotted front row at a LA Lakers basketball game wearing an 'I Love Nerds' t-shirt.
The tee, recognised by Instagram style-stalker @kimkstylebook to be vintage Revenge Of The Nerds paraphernalia, was worn tied at the back to accentuate Kim's famous figure. The entrepreneur, lawyer and reality star paired it with Balenciaga ripped denim jeans, layered necklaces and transparent heels.
While the text is clear (buh-bye athletes and musicians; hello, Louis Theroux), the sartorial subtext has us scratching our heads.
As a gal who lived through the Supre-dominated early noughts-an era of fluorescent tanks, coloured skinny jeans and floppy t-shirts emblazoned with mantras like "Dirty Dirty House Music"-I have just one question: Are slogan tees back?
It appears so, as Kim is not the only member of the style set to don a slogan tee recently.
Emily Ratajkowski-also currently living it up in her single girl era-recently snapped a selfie in a vintage Super Mario Bros. tee with the phrase "Everybody loves an Italian boy". She captioned the Instagram gallery, which featured a few other branded tees, alongside the caption "a few v important t-shirts".
