The Kansas City Chiefs running game needed a boost, and they got quite the significant one with Isiah Pacheco.

The seventh-round pick out of Rutgers showed his toughness right out of the gate, but he might be even tougher than we all thought.

According to Kristian Dyer via Dov Kleiman, Pacheco played through two major injuries in Super Bowl LVII, more specifically, a torn labrum and a broken hand.

Per the report, Pacheco played through the torn labrum for most of his rookie campaign, and he suffered the hand injury during his team's win over the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game.

Notably, he already underwent surgery to address and fix both injuries, so he should be fine and ready to go for next season.

Notably, Pacheco looked as healthy as one could be during the Super Bowl.

He dominated with 76 yards and a rushing score on just 15 carries, all but cementing himself as the team's No. 1 option in the running game going forward.

Pacheco started seven games and was more efficient, more explosive, and more impactful than former first-round pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and the Chiefs didn't hesitate to decline his fifth-year player option now that Pacheco is in town.

On just 207 carries, Pacheco rushed for 1,027 yards and six scores (including playoffs), with the Chiefs only losing one game in his 14 starts.
