Path of Persistence Step 1 - Cal facing first ball & track puzzle

Players may have noticed there are three areas of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's Jedha planet that appear to correspond with similar puzzles. These three areas, Path of Persistence, Path of Restoration, and Path of Conviction, each have a puzzle involving getting a ball on a track to a specific spot.

Cal needs to use his Push and Pull Force abilities in Jedi: Survivor to move the different balls along the tracks to trigger different platforms to appear or shift, which will allow the ball to be pushed to the top of the path where the pillars are. Once at the top, the ball can be pushed toward Wayfinder's Tomb, where all three puzzles convene.

The Path of Persistence puzzle in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will start in a small cave-like area where there is one small track with a ball sitting on the left side. The first step is pretty simple as it just consists of pushing the ball from right to left. Once that is done, players will notice that a platform inside the cave shifts from one side to the other. Next, head back outside to look at the large exterior puzzle again, and Cal will notice that it is no longer missing a portion of the track.

Now that the exterior track is complete, Cal needs to head over to where the ball is sitting on the right side of the track and Force Push it to follow the track to the top of the Path of Persistence. Once it is up there, go ahead and use the wall-climbing path to the right of the track to head up there and find the last track. This one is pretty simple as the ball will have appeared at the end of the track furthest from the pillars, so just Force push it in the direction of Jedi: Survivor's Wayfinder's Tomb, and the posts will lower.

The Path of Restoration puzzle requires a few more steps than the Path of Persistence. It will start similarly with a small horizontal track with no missing or changing platforms. So head over to that small horizontal track first and Force push the ball from right to left. Once that is done, Cal should be able to see the track in the background has a shifting platform that changed the path for that ball. So from there, head over to that far track and push the ball from left to right.

Once that ball is in the correct position, there will be a cave opening that appears at the top of the climbing path next to the vertical part of that path. Head into that cave to find another small track and push/pull the ball from right to left. When the ball is in the left position, the platform piece on the left will slide out. Now if Cal heads back outside, he should see that the missing slot in the vertical part of the track is filled. Now that the cave is no longer necessary go ahead and push the exterior ball back over to the left.

Now go back to the very first horizontal track and pull the ball back into its starting position. This will cause the far horizontal platforms to change the direction of that track back to their original positions. So now jump back over to that track and finally push the ball from left to right on the now complete track that will carry it to the top. Once at the top, it will be a similar situation as the first puzzle in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, where Cal needs to push the ball on the small track in the direction of the pillars.

This puzzle will be a little more annoying than the others as its tracks will reset themselves, making this one of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's quick-time style puzzles. This puzzle also requires the ability that lets Cal change the direction of his dash in midair. It's not an absolute requirement, but this timed puzzle can be virtually impossible without it. To start, when standing next to the small horizontal platform on the left, players will notice three complete tracks. One on the left, one in the center, and one on the right. Pull the ball on the left track first, and the horizontal platform of the middle track should move to a lower position.

Notice that it will slowly begin to rise back up after a certain amount of time. Therefore, in that short window of time, jump across and push the ball off the center track when the platform is in the lower position. From there, a platform will open next to the right track allowing Cal to reach it. Now is the quick time portion. Pull the ball on the left track, Force push the ball on the right track, drop, and Force push the ball on the center track back to starting position. Now wait for that center horizontal platform to rise with the ball in it and then push it along the track up to the top, where Cal can do the final push near the pillars.

Once all of the puzzles have been completed and had the ball pushed along the final tracks on top of them toward the direction of the Wayfinder's Tomb, head to the top of it. On top of the tomb will be three similar pillars that each have a slot where the ball can be pushed into position. When that is completed, the center of the tomb will now have a movable platform. Next, take it down to find two chests, one containing the lightsaber from Jedi: Survivor's returning character, Eno Cordova, and the other containing a Map Upgrade for Treasures. The latter will make 100% completing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor much easier.
