Formula 1 fans will get to see two-time Academy Award winner Brad Pitt at Silverstone Circuit later this year.
Believe it or not, Pitt will drive an actual Formula 1 car alongside the rest of the grid. It's part of a new movie that's being directed by Joseph Kosinski, the director of "Top Gun: Maverick."
Kosinski and Jerry Bruckheimer are actually entering an "11th team" to film on track for the rest of the Formula 1 season.
As you'd expect, the sports world had a lot to say about this interesting development.
"This is actually insane tho, the car seems to be similar to an F2. How will this not hinder the race? There is no way he doesn't get caught up in 2 laps lol," one fan tweeted.
"This is like having the Ted Lasso team play in the Premier League," another fan commented.
Even if you're not a huge fan of Formula 1, you can't deny that Pitt driving at Silverstone should be intriguing.
As for the untitled Formula 1 project that Pitt is starring in, a release date has not been announced yet.
