Prince Harry is reportedly planning to be in and out of the UK within 24 hours for King Charles III's coronation, with royal experts suggesting he only plans to attend the historic event for two hours.
Speaking to The Sun, a royal insider said that the Duke of Sussex hopes to attend the coronation and head back to the US in time for his son's fourth birthday, which falls on the same day: Saturday 6 May.
"Harry will be in and out of the UK in 24 hours," the source told the newspaper. "He will only be doing the coronation service then leaving."
And the timing of the day could afford the Duke just that. King Charles' two-hour coronation service begins at 11am and ends at 1pm, meaning that Harry could be on a plane by 2pm. If all goes accordingly, the royal could be back in California by the early evening.
Although Harry's travel plans have been kept under wraps due to his ongoing concerns about his safety in the UK, it's thought that he will arrive in London on Friday, just one day ahead of his father's coronation.
If the insider's claim is correct, it seems there'll be little time for Harry to reunite with other members of the Royal Family, or join them for the much-anticipated Buckingham Palace balcony appearance.
Last month - after weeks of speculation - it was confirmed that Harry will attend the event, with wife Meghan Markle staying at home in the US to look after their children. At the time, The Sun reported that Charles was "happy" his son planned to attend and was "understanding" that Meghan would remain in California.
