ITV have cancelled shows on Monday 19 September to broadcast the Queen's funeral. This includes the likes of The Chase, Coronation Street and Real Housewives of Cheshire.

The broadcaster will be showing the Queen's funeral live across all channels from 6am until midnight. This comes following Her Majesty's sad passing in Balmoral on Thursday 8 September.

This means all of ITV's usual schedule across its entire network will be wiped for the day and will show the same stream. One unhappy viewer wrote on Twitter: "NO REAL HOUSEWIVES OF CHESHIRE??! Too far!"

This rare choice will reportedly be the first time ITV air the same single broadcast across its entire network. So this will include channels such as ITV, ITV2 and ITVBe.

Fans will have to go without some of their Monday favourites on the day of the funeral unless they go on to the ITV Hub to watch repeats. The Chase will not be on ITV at 5pm, Coronation Street won't be on at 8pm and Real Housewives of Cheshire will not be on ITV2 at 9pm.

There also won't be the usual repeats of the likes of One Tree Hill, Heartbeat and Veronica Mars. Plus, ITV3 won't have its showings of Classic Emmerdale and Classic Coronation Street. This has left viewers wondering if the likes of BBC and Channel 4 will do the same, but it is yet to be confirmed.

The Queen passed away "peacefully" in Balmoral on Thursday, following an announcement from the Palace that doctors were "concerned" for her health and she had been placed under medical supervision. Members of the Royal Family rushed to Scotland to be by her side.

A state funeral will be held for Her Majesty on Monday at Westminster Abbey. Her coffin will be carried on a gun carriage that will be pulled by naval ratings using ropes, similar to the funeral of her father, King George VI, back in 1952. Mourners have already flocked in hundreds of thousands to pay tribute to the Queen, laying flowers and messages in her honour.
