Queen Elizabeth's coffin will make its way to St Giles' Cathedral in a funeral cortege on Monday, enabling the people of Scotland to say goodbye to the beloved monarch.
The coffin arrived at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh after a six-hour journey from Balmoral on Sunday. It remained in the Throne Room overnight, allowing staff to bid farewell to Her Majesty.
King Charles III and the Queen Consort will fly to Edinburgh on Monday to attend a Ceremony of the Keys at Holyroodhouse.
The King will then lead the Royal family in a poignant procession along the Royal Mile to the Cathedral, where the Queen will rest for a service of thanksgiving.

The King and Queen Consort will be formally welcomed to Scotland by the Lord Provost at Holyroodhouse in which the King will symbolically receive the keys to the City of Edinburgh in the Ceremony of the Keys.
Queen Elizabeth's coffin will be taken from Holyroodhouse down the Royal Mile to St Giles' Cathedral.
The coffin will be moved in a hearse, flanked by the bearer party of the Royal Regiment of Scotland and a detachment of the Royal Company of Archers, who act as the King's bodyguard in Scotland.
The King, the Princess Royal, the Duke of York and the Earl of Wessex will follow on foot, while the Queen Consort and other members of the Royal family will follow in cars.
Members of the public can watch the cortege from the pavements of the Royal Mile.
The coffin will arrive at the Cathedral where the Crown of Scotland will be placed on it by the Duke of Hamilton and Brandon, Keeper of the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
A service will then be conducted by The Revd Calum MacLeod, Minister of St Giles', which will be televised. The congregation "will be drawn from all areas of Scottish society", according to a palace official.
Following the 40-minute service, the coffin will rest in the Cathedral for 24 hours. A continuous vigil will be mounted by the Royal Company of Archers.
Later in the afternoon, the King will return to Holyroodhouse to receive the Scottish First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, and will attend the Scottish Parliament to receive a motion of condolence.
The Cathedral will be opened to the public and mourners will be able to file past the coffin to pay their last respects for a period of 24 hours.
The King and other members of the Royal family will mount their own vigil in honour of the Queen at 7.20pm.
