RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Tayce shot to fame after finishing as the runner-up in the second series and has since been turned into a meme.

Despite losing out on the crown to Scottish queen Lawrence Chaney, Tayce has remained a popular figure in the drag community thanks to an iconic line she said on the show.

Chatting exclusively to Digital Spy in an extended interview, Tayce opened up about her famous memefied quote.

"The Cheek, The Nerve, The Gall, The Audacity and The Gumption," Tayce laughed. "I know bars that actually have it on their walls - painted on their walls. I've seen it in toilet stalls in clubs."

The Drag Race star insisted it feels "crazy" to have something she said years ago still be regularly quoted by fans of the show.

"I mean, my mind - it's a crazy place to be," Tayce said. "I say whatever I think off the top of my head. Whatever comes out, comes out.

"Everything I say on the show, it's never scripted. When I'm in - what do you call it, the VTs? When I'm in those interview scenes, I have them cracking up because I just talk absolute nonsense. But that's just me. That's my humour. I just have all these little things.

"I don't know where they come from. But they do. But for the world to literally take it, and for it to be so well-received is fun.

"A lot of the time, I'm entertaining myself. I have a great time for me. If I can inspire somebody on the way - great. It's a bonus."
