The French and Romanian authorities signed an agreement on Monday to facilitate the export of grain from Ukraine by land in the midst of Russia's invasion of the territory.

"Today, together with my Romanian colleague, Ionel Skriostianu, I signed an agreement facilitating the export of grain through our logistics," French Transport Minister Clément Beaune asserted via his Twitter account.

Thus, he conveyed to the Ukrainian authorities his support and "full solidarity" on behalf of the French people. The signing took place in the presence of the Ukrainian ambassador to France, Vadim Omelchenko. As he explained, the agreement will allow Ukraine to supply a larger quantity of grain to Europe and developing countries.
