Former Leeds United star Raphinha has revealed the affection he still has for the team during a recent Instagram post that shows he still owns club merchandise.
Over the summer, after a long period of negotiations, the Whites finally sold their winger to his 'dream' club as the Brazilian joined Barcelona for a reported fee of £49m fee, which could rise to £55m with add-ons.
Football can be a cruel sport at times and players move between different clubs and leagues so frequently they can be forgiven for not holding much loyalty to former teams.
Even so, after spending two seasons playing for the Premier League outfit, it seems as though Raphinha may still hold Leeds United close to his heart.
Indeed, in a recent Instagram post, the 25-year-old shared an image of him walking his dog and his pet's lead - which has the Leeds' club badge printed all over it - was hanging over his shoulders, suggesting, at the very least, he isn't bitter in any way about his past.
TIF thoughts on Raphinha and Leeds.
To be fair, it's not as though the winger would have any reason to feel angry about his time with Leeds. Indeed, in that period he scored 17 goals and provided 12 assists for the club.
That fine form was enough to see him called up to the Brazilian national squad - he now has played nine times for his national - as well as earning him that move to Barcelona.
Even so, not all players would keep memorabilia from their former clubs to use in their everyday life, but Raphinha obviously still has a certain amount of care left for Leeds.
