The CMA Awards announced the nominees for the 56th annual event, and some country music fans are up in arms over one major omission.
When the CMA Awards air on November 9 with hosts Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, one thing is for sure: Blake Shelton will not be coming home with any awards. As fans were quick to point out, the 46-year-old singer did not receive any nominations this year.

CMA shared the list of nominees with their followers on Instagram and received lots of excited comments. Entertainer of the year nominees Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Morgan Wallen, Carrie Underwood, and Chris Stapleton received messages of support. But Blake's fans were very vocal about their displeasure and flooded the comments section:

We have a feeling Blake will be just fine. In addition to returning to the coaching chair on season 22 of The Voice on September 19, the superstar just announced a new Back to the Honky Tonk tour for 2023 where he'll be joined by Carly Pearce and Jackson Dean.
