However, on a more personal level, the Queen's death was a huge blow to the Royal Family. Not only are they grieving, but they need to figure out how to deal with their (very public) family dramas.

While undoubtedly grief has a way of bringing people together, the history of animosity between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the British Royal Family made the world question what course of action Harry and Meghan would take. After the death of Queen Elizabeth II in Balmoral, all of her children and grandchildren gathered in the UK, but Meghan Markle was nowhere to be seen at first, leading to some speculation.

To recap, after marrying Prince Harry, life as a member of the Royal Family became too much for the actress, who shared several instances in which she wasn't treated well. Namely, before the birth of their first child, Archie, she complained that, from the beginning, he was treated as a second-rate member of the family.

"In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time, we have in tandem, the conversation of 'He won't be given security, he's not going to be given a title,' and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he's born," she shared in the very popular interview with Oprah. Prince Harry has since renounced his royal title, but for the looks of it, hasn't lost touch with his brother and other members of the family.

Since the Queen's death, the new King Charles III and Prince William, first in line to the throne, have both spoken to the public, but not Prince Harry. Granted, it wasn't really expected of him, since he is not among those in direct line to the throne, but the people really wanted to hear from him after the drama that filled the last couple of years. Things have changed significantly with the Queen's passing for Meghan and Harry's family. For starters, their children are now HRH and will be referred to as Prince and Princess. But more importantly, despite everything that went on, Harry's grandmother died, and it's not strange to assume that will change things for him. Apparently, Prince William who pushed for a reunion between the brothers, and Harry gracefully accepted.

"William invited Harry and Meghan to join them (William and Duchess Kate Middleton)," a source told Us Weekly. "They were delayed in arriving while they arranged the plans." Despite this public olive branch that was extended, another source added that "While the brothers are keeping it civil and acting like adults as they mourn the queen's death, they've by no means turned the page and made amends. The mood is somber all around."
